Virginia Simmons, M.D.

Dr. Virginia Simmons is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Virginia grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate at the University of Virginia, where she studied English Literature and Premed. After graduation, Virginia was employed in the publishing and marketing sector for five years. She decided to return to the University of Virginia where she attended Medical School. She completed her intern year in OB/GYN at the University of Connecticut. She then completed residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2003. Upon completing her training, she joined the private practice of Wellesley Women's Care in 2003.

Virginia is married and has two daughters. She enjoys participating in all types of fitness programs.
